Photo Guide

Here are some important tips when selecting photos for your portrait:

■Make sure no part of the face (such as ears) is cut off.
Choose a clear, sharp photo so the fur texture can be captured.
■Photos taken in natural light are best; please avoid dim or artificial lighting.
■If you prefer the portrait without clothes, upload a photo where your pet isn’t wearing any — areas covered by clothing cannot be drawn with fur detail.
■Select a photo taken close to the camera, as distant shots make it harder to capture facial features accurately.

Can I see the pet portrait before printing?

Yes, KissPaw offer free previews and
unlimited edits on all orders. You usually see a proof of your pet art 5 days after placing your order. Request any edits or approve for printing and shipping.

Are the images created with AI?

No, we do not use AI in our artwork.
Every piece is handcrafted by our artists with care and precision.
As proof of our manual creation process, we can provide an image of the line drawing (sketch) stage upon request.
However, since the production schedule is limited, please contact us within 6 hours after placing your order.
(After 6 hours, the coloring process may begin, and we may no longer be able to provide the line drawing.)

Can I order a portrait of a person instead of an animal?

Of course! We also create portraits of
people.
Our artists have painted many children, newlywed couples, and even portraits commissioned as birthday gifts.

What if I don't like my pet portrait?

If you don't like your custom artwork we
will edit it as per your requests. We print once you tell us you're happy.

If I have multiple pets but don’t have a photo of them together, how should I proceed?

Separate photos are totally fine! Please upload one photo per pet, and our artist will combine them into a single portrait.

What is the splash color?

The background of the watercolor portrait will feature a gentle, dotted watercolor texture behind your pet.
If you have any specific splash color preferences, please let us know when placing your order.

Can you draw animals other than dogs and cats?

We can handle any animal except insects!
